After the passing of a fellow community member and friend, Reynaldo Mexicano, his friends and family worked together to create an exhibition to honor his memory. Reynaldo was a talented artist and photographer, and the exhibition featured Rey's photography and paintings, as well as artists from the community.

One of three ofrendas for Forest Home Cemetery & Arboretum's Dia de Los Muertos 5k Run/Walk Ofrenda exhibit in 2021. Local students helped paint and decorate he photo frames used on the ofrenda. This was one of three ofrendas created with artists through LUNA.

Salgado and their sister were invited to collaborate on the Dia de los Muertos Ofrendas Exhibition hosted at Latino Arts, Inc.

Created alongside Salgado's mother and sister, they worked on an ofrenda to honor their loved ones from Texas and Mexico. This ofrenda features a crochet piece from their grandmother of "La Virgen," and was framed by their grandfather's carpentry work.
