Created for S.W.A.N. (Support Women Artists Now) MKE Day's Transformative Power Exhibition in 2020, this piece is about growth. Like a rose, every stage of growth is visible as the whole flower grows together and proudly displays each petal. New and old are shown together as one similar to how we carry older versions of ourselves with us. Growth doesn't always mean discarding but able to carry forward.
