WINTER WINDOW MURAL

A small community of Milwaukee-style houses and snowy swirls began to appear on the windows of the Near West Side Partners Inc. building. Spanning across more than 34 5ft by 6ft windows, this holiday window mural was inspired by the Near West Side community's Milwaukee-style architecture and snowy landscape. A bottom border of gingerbread-style houses inspired by the neighborhood lined the bottom of the mural as swirls of stipple snow danced above.

Fellow artists, Emma Southard and Anna Menako, joined Salgado in creating this window mural spanning across the Near West Side Partner's building. Roughly 2-3 windows were stippled over the course of a day, with the project lasting just over a week.
